Hey, Iain! Good to hear from you. If only we could find a spot to stow folding bikes aboard...sigh.

Give Ruth a big hug for us -

G and M,

What does a slip run here?

Glad your blogging again.

Hey Jake! Summertime rates at Brunswick Landing Marina run $11 per foot per month. So our 40-footer costs $440. Shore power is an additional 18 cents per kilowatt hour, so costs us an extra $30/mo. or so - and we use an air conditioner.Your mileage may vary, but likely not by much. It's a nice place to keep a boat...although I may have more to say about it after Hurricane Irene passes through in another few days. As of today's weather forecast, it looks like Irene might be as big as a Category 3 when it makes landfall and moves up the Georgia coast.

Argonaut

Wherefor art thou now?

Hey, Argonaut! Long time no contact! We're still in Brunswick but prepping like mad to head south (and east) to the Bahamas. Plan is to get going some time between Nov. 1 & Nov. 15 - looks like our weather windows last about 4 days so we're likely to be harbor-hopping from Brunswick to somewhere like Palm Beach, Florida, before actually crossing to the islands. Yippee!
