There are reasons why Agua Verde is such a popular cruising destination. Opportunities abound for swimming, snorkeling, paddling, and fishing. The seashell enthusiast has a selection of beaches with good collecting potential. The fishing village of Agua Verde welcomes you to look around; maybe you could bring some basic supplies for their school while you explore. There are plenty of roads and trails outside the village on which to hike.
Agua Verde never stays empty for very long, so it was no surprise when six sailboats, including Kia Ora, arrived in quick succession. One of the larger ketches made for the southern anchorage while the other five boats shuffled around the NW lobe.
Happy Hour on Kia Ora was indeed happy as we four made plans for the next couple of days...
